The shape of spherical ice balls means that they have a lower surface area than traditional ice cubes. This in turn means that they'll melt much slower than their cubed counterparts. This silicone mould not only allows you to create round ice balls, but the moulds are also considerably larger than other trays and will make 2" round ice pieces. This is especially important for keeping drinks like gin and tonic and other ice-based cocktails cool and flavourful.

Simply fill the tray with water, freeze and you'll have six ready to use, very effective ice balls. What's more, the tray itself is made from durable silicone so it is dishwasher safe!
